“The state of affairs on the Northern Flank” Fireside Chat w/ Mr Kjetil Stormark
September 27 @ 6:00 pm - 10:00 pm
The primary driver of Russia in the Arctic and the High North seems – for the time being – to be stability through display of strength and deterrence. The presence of oil and gas and important minerals make the Arctic an important future source of income. If conflict erupts between NATO and Russia, or if Russia feels otherwise threatened, the Russian response will presumably be an Iron Fist in the North, even if the conflict starts elsewhere.”
In cooperation with The In&Out, Den Norske Klub are delighted to invite you to a Fireside chat followed by a 3 course Beef Wellington dinner with Mr Kjetil Stormark as guest of honour, Thursday 27th September 2018.
