While Maria was doing her degree in Software Engineering at the university of Southampton she spent her summers in Oslo studying Norwegian at the University of Oslo. Although she is living in the UK, it is very important for her to stay connected to Norway: she was a member of the Nordic Society at the university and then joined DNK after graduation. Now Maria does technology for an asset management company in London and a part time PhD in Data Science. This leaves her with just enough free time to do travelling (mostly in Norway) and participate in the club’s life.
